The movie : Body of Lies and Islamic terrorism I watched this movie accidentally few days back. What struck me is absolute naivete that Hollywood or any movie industry would display. The movie notes some accurate points about Islamic Jihad, Universal Caliphate and what Islam says about infidels (i.e. infidels) as Russell Crowe observes. It made me laugh for the strategies adopted by US Govt., under the aegis of Russell Crowe, to defeat this terrorism, not because it is not inhuman, would only lead to defeat of freedom and democracy. There is nothing new in Hollywood making pro-Islamic movies hiding away the truth and using deception. Coming to the plot in the movie, the movie shows US tackling Islamic terrorism by killing key terrorists through intelligence by placing CIA agents on the ground. (Leonardo Di Caprio plays the role of one such CIA agent on the ground.) But coming to the plot and political points, will this policy work ? The answer can be seen from the way the protagonist himself gets disenchanted at the end. If one kills few terrorists then others will come in their place; terrorism is mere means to achieve goals, whether be political or religious in nature. Terrorism is not the end itself. If terrorists speak about Universal Caliphate and the world under Islamic rule, then one needs to ask or investigate if those views of terrorists are in accordance with what Islam is teaching and main stream Islamic thinking for past 1400 years or in contradiction of teachings of Islam. Its this approach that defeats Islam, which is expansionist and fascist to the core. Its only dishonesty when one says Jihad, Dhimmah and Universal Caliphate are aspects of one interpretation of Islam because thats only the way Islam was interpreted for about 1400 years and the only way Islam can be interpreted. If I want to interpret Koran as comic book of Tom and Jerry, I can do it but it does not sound logical as Koran itself tells how it should be seen and understood. When we do read and understand Koran as it asks, then its more than clear that Islam is the most dangerous and inhuman ideology ever conceived on this Earth. In the movie Ben-Hur, when the Roman military officer asks another officer, about to retire, (whom he is to replace) about revolts and rebels in the occupied lands of Israel, he tells him the real problem is with what is in the minds of people they conquered, not few rebels. The same analogy applies here. Those Muslim terrorists are one aspect of the problem of Islamic fascism. The real problem is the so called moderate and ordinary Muslims, peaceful in the eyes of non-Muslims because they are not spilling the blood on streets. The views and beliefs of these moderate Muslims are no different from terrorists. They only differ in the means to achieve their aims. So called moderate Muslims intend to spread Islam using non-violent means while the terrorists use violence. Its this knowledge of state of affairs of Islamic community that defeats Islam, which has nothing but contempt and disregard for others. Killing few terrorists is not going to solve the problem of Islam that has plagued humanity since its inception in the 7 nth century.
