The movie R.I.P.D(Rest In Peace Department) starring Jeff Bridges,Kevin Bacon and Ryan Reynolds offers a hilarious or rather,a comical approach if not insight into the after-life concept;death and the beyond,that is.The coined word as used;Dead-os,the concept in usage by the R.I.P.D top cop hot shots as to the use of food/edibles/victuals and/or powdered irritants to trigger/stimulate the deados outta them freaky humans ,strikes me with the constant reminder about the dead-man walking phrase total memory recall all through-out the entire length of the movie. The usual Holly-wood emotional moment of kiss for sale,the coyote infusion with the cow-boy marshal and the fastest gun-slinger concept like the American Wild West.But in all for my favourite scene;the unveiling of the famous jack-hammered GT-500 Ford Mustang car in a painted red all through covering,with an over-roof,bonnet and trunk/boot stripped black paint coated finish. If its entertainment you seek,then youve got it but if its the defination of an after-life,then youre on a long walk down a lonely road to Imagine-asia,lolz!.... cause this movie is Mind-Bending and as such; not suitable for the religiously inclined,my modest opinion though. Last quote;A film is a petrified fountain of thought-Jean Cocteau . . Haha,lolz!
