The movie, Unbroken, should not be missed for those who care about what had happened during the WWII and what cruelties Japanese imperial army had committed to the POWs during the WWII. The movie will be released during the coming Christmas season. Unbroken is also one of the best sellers of The New York Times. It is a story about Louis Zamperini who competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics for the 5,000 meter run and won Hitlers attention. Hitler extended his hand, but refused by Zamperini. He is one the most hopeful to win the gold medal for the 5,000 run in 1940. But it was interrupted by the WWII. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps shortly after the U.S. entered World War II and was a bombardier on a B-24 in 1943 when his plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean. He and two other crews drifted in Pacific for 47 days on rainwater and fish until he and the other remaining survivor were captured by the Japanese. Zamperini spent the rest of the war in POW camps until he was liberated along with other POWs. https://youtube/watch?v=XrjJbl7kRrI
