The much quoted Arab Sprigg so- called revolution delivered in office President Adel-al Sisi, a former intelligence Chief under former President Hosni Mubarak. An irony here, the president who was democratically elected and the successor of Mubarak, President Mohamed Morsi was removed from power only after a year in office in July 2013, the crack down claimed 1400 lives ! Now all murder charges against revolutionary led removal of Mubarak have dropped, corruption charges against his sons Alaa and Gamal were also dropped instead al-Sisi instructed the prime minister to review compensation for the families... Revolution or upheaval ? Former heads in toppled former regime are now incharge again, removed and charged former President both murder and corruption charges dropped, democratic elected and popular president removed from office ! I still await SA analysts to talk to us about this, so that we understand the psyche of so- called revolutions, social upheavals, mobocracy, anarchy or genuine struggle for new society etc ! Arab Spring a lesson to us all ! Who is leading that revolution for whose interest !
