The nation is in a deep chill not only in the House & the Senate as gamesmanship has become the play of the day but also with ice cold temps and lake-effect snow pounding parts of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, New York and other states with up to 12 of snow in some places. That is pretty weird weather for this early in the season before Thanksgiving. I remember late November being a time when we were cleaning up tons of leaves and maybe even doing a final mowing if we hadnt done one in early November or late October. As a former Hoosier (Indiana native) that plowed snowed to make money for many years as a growing teen, I LOVED lake-effect snow since it gave me some work to do. What that is is when the moist air is being blown by Canadian winds over any of the Great Lakes like Lake Michigan usually in a southerly direction and it picks up all of this moisture and then drops it as snow to the south of those lakes.
