The nation needs to understand the Keystone Pipeline project is the right thing for the Environment. Once the environmentalist get out of the way, and admit this its a no brainer. Currently a Keystone Pipeline exists. It goes from tar sands in Canada to Northern Kansas where it splits and goes to Southern Illinois and Northern Oklahoma. From there the oil travels by train, truck, and barge to coastal ports where it is shipped overseas. The current expansion of Keystone merely finishes the pipeling from Northern Oklahoma, to the Coast of the Gulf of Mexico. This allows us to not have trains, trucks, and boats carrying oil throughout our heartland.
