The neighborhood is SAFE - LOL!!! Im feeling MUCH better to know that the notice on my door yesterday was legit! :) I spoke with a very nice lady at the Assessors office right away & was also assured that no one would enter my home w/out a parent present -whew! Thanks much for the comments & pms with advice (Im not the only one questioning this!). I just have never heard of someone knocking on peoples doors with expectations to come inside for an inspection without an appointment. Im still bugged by the unannounced visit & the notice of said assumptions to be made about my personal property, BUT am glad to know theres not a creepy imposter roaming my neighborhood! Ha!
