The new Dodson Field track was formally dedicated late Friday afternoon during a special ceremony. Sanger High track and field coach Clay Manning addressed the crowd gathered to watch elementary age cross country runners participate as part of the annual SUSD Fall Sports Carnival. The new track is the only 10-lane surface in California, Manning said, and the coach also thanks parents and the community for their financial support in making the new track a reality. Longtime SHS track and field coach Dave Dodson and Superintendent Matt Navo then formally cut the ribbon for the new facility.
