The new Mac OS unveiled. Apple keeps a-dragging everyone into the Cloud. Me? Sorry, Im not interested. Ill use it as a backup for some stuff, but no way Im going all in. I dont have a iPhone, and my iPod very seldom leaves its dock in my studio, so integrating all my devices is a big who cares? for me. The storage on my new iMac is so huge, its more than Ill ever need. I dont trust the Cloud. I dont think for a second that NSA isnt poking through it. At least with a hard drive, they have to come get it, presumably with a court order. Besides, I strongly suspect its a money grab. Once everyone is on the Cloud, then the price starts rising fast. See Adobe for proof of that. Ill be hanging onto my CS6 versions as long as possible.
