The new Railway Minister DVS Chaired his maiden introductory meeting in Bengaluru. On his invitation 15 MLAs, 2 MLCs, All the 3 MPs, 3 Ministers from the State participated in this meeting contributing their ideas. Circular (suburban) Railway for Bengaluru, Eco-friendly Toilets in Trains, Modernisation of the City Railway Station, Safety measures at Rly Stations, expediting ROB and RUB Constructions and other issues were stressed. Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao and myself emphasised the Railways to cooperate with our Okalipuram 8 lane Signal free Corridor Construction without any further hurdle. This was a lively, timely attempt (to know about the needs of Bengaluru) by the new Railways Minister. His zeal was appreciated by all, cutting across the Party line. Dhanyavadagalu DVS.
