The new Tourism Levy Bid, perhaps a meeting to discuss. As I have previously stated, I am totally opposed as many others are to the new Tax that is being forced on business people in the town. My reasons are many, but mainly the underhand tactics that have been used to implement this new tax. Also the arrogance of the people running it, especially a Karen Young who refuses to answer any email that is against their policies, and I have just discovered that Karen Young accepted a telephone call from a local business man, whom she thought was in an agreement with the bid, but during the conversation discovered that he was not, hung up the phone on him. The reason for my posting is that if you have a grievance with this tax on our livelihoods, perhaps we should all meet up and discuss the next step of how we handle this matter. I also invite members of the Levy Bid Committee. I propose we arrange a meeting for Monday evening the 8th December at 6.30, venue to be announced.
