The new bunny seems to be doing very well. He nibbled at a carrot and some vita craft rings and is just being left to chillax (but situated to see and be seen and be a part of the room without feeling too exposed.) He has a litter-pan of fresh hay, a bowl of fresh, filtered water and some good pellets. Im considering putting a stuffy in with him too, but maybe not - hes already flopped a few times, showing part of his sweet tummy and his feelings of safety in his new home. That made me happy - that he did that. But hes not going to be picked up for a day or so more - I just want him to feel calm and finish healing up, as I have no idea if/when he had last pain meds. But he seems alert, comfortable, if seeming a little sore and crouchy when he moves from one end of the pen to the other, but he is very friendly and comes to an offered hand.
