The new edition of Fine Homebuilding showed up in the company mailbox the other day and lo and behold, there was a great little how-to article about installing sliding barn-style doors. Coincidentally, two of the three homes that were currently building have said sliders on the spec sheet! Now, if youre an OG HCB project junkie (and we know there are throngs of you little minions out there!), you probably remember the sick antique sliding door that we did at the Cherry Tree Rd house we built in 09 (pic in inset). See? We were Sliding door cool and salvaged material awesome before these things were even trending! Wrote the dang book is the phrase that comes to mind...
