The new text book is out and it is gorgeous; 530 pages of coloured diagrams, photos, many of which were taken at Oaklands College as part of what is glamourously known as a "photoshoot" (my own hands [now insured for 100k] even appear in a couple of them!) and acres of sweated-out, agonised-over text. There is a year of my life (and that of my colleague and fellow scribe Andy Jeffery) in that book and I am immeasurably proud of our achievement.
