The newest permanent attraction at the Timmins Museum and National Exhibition Centre is the Hollinger House, which now graces the front courtyard of the museum property. Adding to the attraction is the latest effort by the Timmins Horticultural Society whose members recently volunteered to provide heritage flower gardens around the old house. Gardener Kees Stryland explained that flowers such as delphiniums and shasta daisies were popular back in the day when the personal gardens around the Hollinger Houses were the talk of Timmins.
