The newly elected chairperson of Commonwealth Africa Parliament Human rights Group Godfrey Kiwanda wants the ministry of education to include human rights on the school curriculum to ensure promotion and protection of rights. Kiwanda says this is one of the declarations from their meeting in MAHE adding that if human rights are taught to pupils they will grow up well versed with how to advocate for their own rights as well as others. He says one of the recommendations is a private members bill in parliament to have human rights included on the curriculum. What do you think?
