★The news from the center★ As you all know, we(5 representative) had a long meeting of 2hrs with Investigating Officer, SDMs representative along with college authority. Our voice was given the major priority by the officials. We never pulled ourselves out to raise the voice of 2,500 students. The I.O. supported us at every instance. The GOOD NEWS came out is that- the administrative head(Mr. Aloke Kahali) has guaranteed that ALL PENDING CASES(INCLUDING PAST AND PRESENT) WILL BE WITHDRAWN as soon as possible. --Proposal from the college side- To form 4 member commitee which will give report whether the principal should be dismissed or not. Till then proposed us to resume the classes from tomorrow. --But we opposed such proposal and insisted our demand that the classes will be suspended until the principal is not suspended. The report of the meeting is sent to the SDM by his representative and final decission will be taken by him. We are very much hopeful that the result (which will come out within 2 days) will be in our favour. If the rorder is against our favour, we will continue our peaceful protest.Till then Keep Calm! We will inform you what to do next. Where as in Kolkata, a small group of students also had meeting with Human Rights Commision for few hours. Also with press and media were called by the officials.
