The news is on shortly, but heres a quick synopsis...not much change in the going forecast, patchy lightn nuisance snow around this evening not amounting to much. The brunt will not developing until after midnight and for much of the area maybe not until closer to daybreak. Heaviest snows expected in western New England but respectable for the remainder of the region, lightest in the Adks, Mohawk valley and w. Catskills. Expect hazardous travel Tue. and Tue night in blowing snow and reduced visibility. Its cold so the snow will be quite light and dry, easy to move, but also easy to blow around. General accumulations of 8-14 in and around the Capital Region, lighter to much lighter north and west and heavier east and south. Storm pulls out Tuesday evening/night with snow winding down. Wed. looks dry and cold 20s. Thur looks dry, slightly less cold near 30. A clipper with some snow on Friday, could be several inches.
