The news media always focuses on the riverfront of Detroit and I fully understand that. But I wish they would focus more on the good people of Detroit who live in the inner city. The ones who keep up their houses and lawns, even though there are nothing but vacant homes on the street. And how about the people who take it upon themselves to pick up the trash of the "dumping grounds" of their streets - I commend them all. There people are the "real people" of DETROIT!
