The news that 33 people were killed and more than 200 women and children kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria is a tragic reminder that the capacity of this evil group to perpetrate terror has not been diminished by recent international efforts to defeat it. Please join me in praying for the victims and their families as they face this unendurable trial. Please also remember the many special operators, including members of the California National Guard, who are currently deployed to assist the Nigerian military as they struggle to combat #BokoHaram.
