The news we have all been waiting for!!! On Tuesday i met with my lawyer in Nassau, who confirmed what a lawyer friend in London had advised me, that my original contract with the sellers means that they cannot get out of the contract we have in place or The ARC be sold from under me. While waiting to announce this, the sellers have also had a turn around and written to me to agree to the original contract. With the funds we have raised so far, i am able to offer to the sellers a sizeable downpayment to cover their costs to date, pay for legal costs & complete on the sale. I have from the date we sign the completion 2 years to raise the remaining funds to pay off The ARC on a private mortgage with them. So thank you all for making this possible. Your support, words of encouragement, advice, donations and prayers sent this way have kept me strong at my weakest moments in order to save The ARC and all it stands for. I have been truly moved by the beautiful messages of love and support from you all and gained even more belief in what we offer here being of service to others is the most rewarding job in the world. Our work here continues in wonderful ways, this week on the mail boat we have a shipment of fruit trees, flowering shrubs and herbs arriving ready to plant up our garden here in a bid to be even more self sufficient. This really has been the most miraculous journey of deep trust, faith, community support and love, long may it continue!!
