The next 42 will be here again soon and it’s our Halloween special! So come and join us at Drummonds in Worcester for an amazing night. We have a great line up and here is a write up of some of the performers you can expect to see. Tom Wyre has had one heck of a year! He released a collection of his poems entitled “Through the Lucid Door” and has been touring at Spoken Word events throughout the country and has recently come back from Ireland. And if that wasn’t enough for one year, this fantastic poet attained another huge accolade when he was crowned Staffordshire’s Poet Laureate! Tom appeared on our stage last year for our Flash Fiction event and it is wonderful to have him back for our Halloween Special. Sally Grainger is a student at the University of Worcester, studying a Creative & Professional Writing Degree. In 2009 she underwent a life saving operation and has since been living life to the full. Sally is local to Worcester and will be making her “42” debut. James Walpole is a well known and well received poet of the Birmingham Spoken Word scene. He recently performed at the “Some Kind of Blue” open exhibition and appeared at the “Sunday Xpress” as part of the Birmingham Poetry Festival. James has also performed at “Word Up” on occasion, an acclaimed monthly Birmingham event.
