The next big thing to surface will be a re-visit of the raising of the national debt. Again. Over and over, again. Doom, again, like with the sequester discussion, will be the message. Since just one man, Il Duce Harry Reid, for 5 years has not allowed America’s government to even have a budget, how about a 5 years Cap and Grow Continuing Resolution? Assume the 2010 spending base line (the height of spending after the huge flop known as the Stimulus Package was implemented) and simply let every government agency know, “ya get, what ya got, for 5 years – get over it”. Then watch the growth – it will happen. Do the math – 3.5 % growth compounded over 5 years and Eureka! Or, we can keep doing this again, and again and again …………….
