The next generation of all mountain skis. The brand new 2014-15 #NRGybyNORDICA All Mountain line features several new technologies that together, have allowed us to build the next generation of All Mountain skis. The first technology has to do with shape. Here we introduce a new modern tip shape with a little relief on either side that makes the ski extremely playful and easy to handle in soft snow, while at the same time a low rising shovel profile combined with a side-cut that progresses well past the point of contact, to ensure full edge purchase and stability on hard snow. In the tail we introduce a slight taper combined with a touch of rocker which makes the skis really playful and maneuverable, yet you still have that classic All Mountain radius to rip the groomers with confidence. The second part of the equation is our new i-Core Torsion Bridge Ti construction. By removing specifically engineered geometric shapes from a full sheet of Titinal, the Torsion Bridge provides our all-new NRGy skis with the performance of metal without the extra weight and sluggishness that typically comes with a traditionally constructed metal ski. Combining this torsion bridge technology with our new exceptionally lightweight full wood core, results in a revolutionary construction that is extremely lightweight yet torsionally strong and confidence inspiring in all conditions and terrain.
