The next meeting of the Stansbury Art and Literary Society is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 7 p.m., at the Tooele Applied Technical College, 88 S. Tooele Blvd, Tooele City. It will be an organizational meeting with the introduction of the person who wii be taking Rolanda Roots place in running the meetings. Rolanda has done an excellent job over the past two years and, hopefully, will lend her expertise in helping out in other areas of our organization. The person taking her place is Jane Autry. Jane has shown the enthusiasm to take on organizational chores for our group and is willing to head up running our meetings for this coming year. There is an optional project, selected at the September meeting, people can be working on. This is to do a work of art in the medium of your choice with the theme Copy a Master. Bring what you create to the meeting. This is the fun part to see what people come up with and how they interpret what has been chosen as the project.
