The next time someone asks me... what do you do? I inspire, motivate and encourage others. I assist in helping people navigate through a series of transitions while challenging them to think differently. I contribute to students outlook about living on campus and their overall college experience. I am a well informed, approachable resource person. I coordinate meaningful, fun and informative events that students benefit from. I facilitate conversations that help people learn lessons that transcend way beyond the classroom. I am constantly reevaluating myself. I am a lifelong student trying to better myself each day so that I may be an example to those around me. I try to lead in such a way that others feel empowered to be leaders themselves. My title just happens to be Residence Director but what I do occupationally is merely an outlet in which my purpose is able to manifest. It is a platform for me to demonstrate the person I want to be and what I wish to contribute to the world. What will your answer be?
