The next week and a half is going to fly by...tonight is Senior Class Night. Sunday night is Baccalaureate, Friday the 30th is Graduation and Monday, June 2nd, Lauren leaves for AIT at Fort Leonard Wood. Way too many Sunrise, Sunset moments this week. I am SO proud of Lauren. I think back to January 1998 in a Russian courtroom where Doug and I pledged to love this very hurt little girl as our very own....then I look at her today and praise God for the wonderful work He has done in her life! She is one of the hardest workers I know. She stands by her own convictions and is not afraid of what others may think. She is kind hearted, respectful...I could go on and on! I am not tooting my own horn here...this has clearly been a God thing from day one. He brought our family together in a wonderful way and has walked with us thru some very wonderful days and some very dark ones as well. I have people tell me many times over the years how wonderful it was that we saved these childrens lives...my comment has always been but cant you see they saved ours as well?...finish string, Lauren Ashley! We are so proud of you!!
