When all the dust settled Mexico lost 1/3 of its territory nearly all of present day California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico by a land grab by the USA president of the time James K Polk. Gold was discovered just days before Mexico Ceded California to the USA in the Treaty of Guadalupe Theres quite a bit more to read. Until I looked it up I had no idea Mexico lost so much land. I realize there is so much controversy on whats happening now with children and their mothers. I personally have opinions. With all that is happening I decided to look up some facts. Some that are not above. The USA declared war on Mexico, Mexico never declared war back. The blood make up of the Mexican people is a cross between Spanish, Aztec & American Indian as well as Caucasian. My opinion Those children belong here more than anyone. Time to get real!!
