The night is cold and dark, the sounds of the city have gone quiet. Replaced with the sounds of screams, gunshots in the distance, and strange growls. Breathing heavy from recently running for my life I stand here frozen in the ally waiting... at the end of the ally I see figures moving but I cant make out what they are, behind me the screech of tires as a car narrowly misses crashing. Off in the distance a building explodes lighting up the alley enough to make out the strange mutations ahead of me, I turn and run. As I enter the street I stop, to my left the street is dark and cold and to my right there is a strange unexplainable mutation standing a few feet away, I run, and it begins to chase me. I duck into a cafe and watch the mutation run past, slowly walking backwards watching the street. I am relieved, I have made it off the street... suddenly I hear heavy breathing coming from over my sholder. Frozen... I stand there... waiting... Welcome to the City of Avalon.
