The nightmare of the year has passed, I was held prisoner with Jury Services from 8am until 4:45pm!!! Hells Bells!!! I normally sleep everyday from 10a-6p, and there I was nodding off, being grilled by attorneys and the judge, locked tight in a courtroom from 2pm onwards! Horrors! Furthur horrors would have been picked for the jury, and the trial lasting for 6 weeks, which happened to one potential juror I talked to! It says on the summons, failure to appear could result in a $500 fine! Next time this nightmare is on the horizon, Ill pay the $500 and throw in a tip! Next time they can summon you is 18 months hence!
