The nineteenth session of the Human Rights Councils Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group will be held in Geneva from 28 April to 9 May during which 14 States are scheduled to have their human rights records examined under this mechanism. The group of States to be reviewed by the Universal Periodic Review Working Group during this session are (in order of scheduled review): Norway, Albania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Portugal, Bhutan, Dominica, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Brunei Darussalam, Costa Rica, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Qatar and Nicaragua. The meeting will take place in Room 20 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
