The noise scattered the pigeons but my birds just hung out. I awkwardly stood on the statue base to get a better view of which direction the Blue Angels were coming in from. If I rely just on the sound, I dont have enough time to setup. Still missed some really close fly-bys. I try again on Sunday maybe. I think today was another practice run for them. Also in the air, midges. A cloud of them hovered above my head. Annoying bastards. They were no match for my soapy spray bottle. This morning a dramatic cloud cropped up in my view. Im sure it must have been spectacular from the coast. Now it rains through the warm moist air but the sunset still looks postcard ready.
