The not politically correct facts are that Boston University had to stretch their rules to the limits to confer a Doctorate on Martin Luther King Jr. as he plagiarized 60% of his theses. The board met extensively on this subject and only after pleadings that they needed a black graduate and much consternation did they finally give in to political correctness. It was in its infancy at the time; that is political correctness. In addition, he plagiarized the I have a dream speech, a speech that was made 30 years earlier by another obscure Black Minister. That and adding to the fact he was a womanizer on the trail to freedom so to speak, it was a stretch to fine a proper Black hero as he was the best available. For this he has his own day and the greatest American that ever lived, George Washington, does not.
