The notices for today are as follows: * NEW MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY! Twice a month, from 3.00 - 4.30pm, students from Years 7 to 12 are invited to come down to Footprints Educational Complex, the childcare centre opposite the netball courts (near the West Park Grove IGA). Play with children, help weed gardens, cleaning, helping with projects, etc. For more information, a consent form and to sign up, come and see Mrs de Jonge at the Chapel. * CITY KITCHEN There are spots open for students at the City Kitchen in Wynyard next Thursday, 15 May. Please come and sign up at the Chapel if interested. * CALLING ALL CHESS ENTHUSIASTS Beginning next Tuesday, 13 May, and running for the rest of Term 2, there will be an inter-school Chess Tournament taking place at Marist Regional College. This tournament will involve teams of 4 students from secondary schools and colleges from Smithton to Burnie. It will be held in the MRC Library and will run from 4.00 – 5.00pm. If you are interested in participating, please contact Mrs Woodberry before the end of Thursday 8 May. * MSP PHOTOGRAPHY PHOTOS Any students who did not collect their MSP Photos on the last day of school at the end of Term 1 can collect from Reception at Recess and Lunchtime. * 2014 AUSTRALIAN MATHEMATICS COMPETITION Entries close on Thursday, May 8. Entry is $5 and is payable to the Student Services Office. Please see your Maths Teacher for further details. * BATS MUSICAL SCHEDULE AND HOODIE ORDERS Would all performers/cast members please collect a rehearsal schedule from Mrs Lakeland on Thursday. Please be prompt and bring your lunch. * YEAR 10 PEER LEADERS There will be a peer leader meeting in the Dadirri Centre on Friday at lunchtime. * EQUESTRIAN RIDERS Please return any saddle blankets to Mrs Sadler ASAP. * SOCCER Could all students who signed up for soccer please a collect roster and form from Isaac in the Harcombe Centre today. * GIRLS YEAR 7-10 SCHOOL HOCKEY Any girl in Year 7-10 who would like to play hockey for the school in this years’ Gala Hockey Day v Burnie High, Parklands High and Wynyard High, please sign up with Isaac in the Harcombe Centre before the end of the week. * FOOTBALL Please collect football letters/registration forms from the Harcombe Centre. * The UTAS Futures event is coming to Marist on Thursday 22 May 2014 from 12.45pm – 2.50pm.
