The notion of religious freedom, at least in the earthly political - TopicsExpress

The notion of religious freedom, at least in the earthly political sense, is not even something Jesus or the early apostles talked about. They saw persecution as a chance to show what it means to be Christ-like and sacrificing, to turn the other cheek and love an enemy, to hang on a cross if necessary - not to fight tooth and nail for their own rights. As Jesus himself said: If anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, give your cloak as well; and if anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second mile. So what should a Christian business owner do if someone makes them buy a pack of birth control pills for an employee? Buy two?
