The number 1 vision of Belize Development Partners is; 1) INDUSTRIAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Belize is blessed to be located in both Central America and the Caribbean with both mainland and the Caribbean Sea to our advantage, and yet we have seen governments come and go with minor improvements at the end of their term of office. Belizeans are undoubtedly very talented and creative, if given the opportunity to express themselves with the right people and in the right environment. Industrial and mechanical engineering will be a part of our education system within five (5) years. It is obvious that our political leaders do not have the political will, the know-how or the vision to lead Belize forward. Engineers are the people who make things and make things work, not political leaders. Here is where we need to establish a department that will work in partnership with the Ministry of Education, University of Belize, Galen University and other foreign Universities to develop the required infrastructure and environment. This department will focus only on Industrial and Mechanical engineering.
