The number I got (From Kristina Leigh Howard) was 10, so here goes: 1. My birth was an auspicious one: I needed an exchange transfusion (pump out all of my blood, put new blood in) at birth, and the hospital I was born at had never performed this procedure before. Needless to say, I survived, and from what I heard, became a bit of a celebribaby at the hospital for it. 2. One of my earliest memories is me kicking out my bedroom window and lacerating the hell out of my ankle. My brothers and sisters say I was throwing a tantrum because I didnt want to go take my nap, truth is, I was just bored and beating my feet on the window. I dont remember any screaming, just wondering what the big deal was when my sister scooped me up and ran full tilt down the street to our neighbors house who was a doctor. 3. When I was 9 years old, I realized I had always put my shoes and socks on right foot first. In the interest in fairness to my feet, I started putting them on left foot first and resolved that at 18, I would alternate feet each day. I still put them on left foot first to this day. 4. Melted American Cheese on anything except a hamburger will make me puke. Seriously, dont even try to test me on this. 5. I didnt watch pro wrestling through the majority of the 90s. Not because i thought it was childish or that the product itself was dumb, but because my fellow Marines thought it was gay. 6. Speaking of gay: the last few years of my active duty, there was a huge rumor that I was gay, despite the fact I had a few girlfriends in that time. Maybe that giant banner of Keanu Reeves on my wall had something to do with it (I won the theater lobby poster of the movie Speed in a raffle at the theater one night and I really liked the movie so I put it up.) 7. I am a die hard Chicago Cubs fan. It all stemmed from back in the early 80s when my parents got cable for the first time and we had the three superstations: WGN, WOR, and WTBS, broadcasting the Cubs, Mets, and Braves games respectively. I didnt like the Braves outright. The Mets seemed neat, but I couldnt get into them. But the Cubs had Harry Carey, and amazing announcer that grabbed my little 8 year old heart and didnt let go. I learned Take me out the the ballgame from him, and to this day, no matter where I am when that song is sung, I still say Root for the Cubbies! instead of Home Team. 8. My dream car to someday own is a 1967 Shelby Mustang Cobra GT500, Blue with white racing stripes, of course. Yes, that is indeed the same car as Rally Vincent from Gunsmith Cats. 9. My most common celebrity Im told I look like is Chris Farley. Others Ive gotten are Jeff Daniels, Jack Black, Mike Nelson, and Ron Pearlman. 10. My favorite Ben and Jerrys flavor is New York Super Fudge Chunk. and a bonus one: 11. Despite me being a lover of all things Chicago, I have only ever been there once (for Anime Central 2001.) One of these years, Im going to go and take the Ferris Beuller tour. Chicago deep dish pizza, you shall someday be mine, oh yes!
