The number one offense in yards, passing yards, and points didnt even get a 1st down until 2 minutes into the 2nd qtr... A drive that couldve taken the score from 15-0 to 15-7, ended in a pick6 making it 22-0. The hawks scored a safety, 2 fgs, a rushing td, a passing td, and a KRTD, before the statistical #1 offense, led by the 5 time MVP, even scored. Many many many said Peytons legacy doesnt lie on the outcome of this game. That hes already the best thats ever played the position. Hes still in my top 3. Thats just a really really good D, he just played. Im so glad the team I root for is built on Defense. Definitely in the convo of best Ds ever.... But now everybody is 0-0 again. Already time to think about and prepare for next year... I like the way this team prepares. Seattle will have a really tough schedule next year.. And a bullseye on their back. Each game, win or lose, will sharpen the blade. As Carroll said, this team would be surprised if we didnt repeat... And as Russ always says, why not us?... And as the D says over and over... BOOM!!!!
