The nurses were getting everything ready for discharge but were concerned with Emilys stats. They should be high (96-100%) after her surgery, like we have been seeing but today they are dipping down into the low 90s and into the high 80s when she sleeps. They did an x-ray and there is fluid on and around her left lung. So she is going to get more diuretics and chest pt to clear it up. They will do another x-ray in the morning to see how it is. I am not upset by this at all. I would rather stay in the hospital until she is really ready to leave. 😊 Emily Grace did have a sedated echo today and everything looks great!! Woohoo! It was amazing to see her heart working as a normal heart should. ❤️ Here are some pictures from today. The x-ray picture is neat! There is also a picture of her echo. Grams fell asleep in the chair during the echo! My flash woke her up. Haha! This is what happens when she doesnt get her morning coffee. 😴
