The object of playing a game is to win. Some games allow us to play against a computer whilst others allow for competition between two or more human opponents. Take for instance the game of scrabble. This is a word game that tests our vocabulary and mental skills. Each person is given a rack of seven tiles. Each tile has a letter on them and is expected to formulate words from the tiles given as large as possible and on places on the board to maximize the most points. As each player utilizes the tiles on their rack they replenish the tiles used with the equivalent from the bag. Now on the board there are squares that i will refer to as opportunities. These squares of opportunities are give the fortunate players chances to score either double letters; double words; triple letters; triple words. Now supposing a player does not have many options on the board to play that will land him or her the opportunity to play on these special squares, that player now has to strategically play in such a way that the opponent will not be able to grasp the opportunity to increase their score using these specially marked squares. How can we relate this game to life ? You see, in causes there to be open areas in our lives that the devil grasps the opportunity to use and keep us in bondage. I call them doorways to satanic oppression. The deeper we sink into sinful activities the greater the hold the devil will have on us. But their is one door way of opportunity and that is through Jesus. When we repent and accept Jesus into our lives the devil has to let go. Jesus will liberate us from sin but we must not continue to reopen those closed doorways for the devil to rejoice. Get the picture? Romans 6:23King James Version (KJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 10:10-18King James Version (KJV) 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. God bless.
