The topic of defending yourself from the state, it is a difficult question. Surely the mailman is not completely innocent, but surely he/she does not deserve death either, simply for foolishly and unknowingly aiding the enemy. The question is, if someone foolishly runs around shooting a gun into a crowd of people, unknowingly, he still stands the risk of being shot at himself for being so foolish... Just because you dont intend to harm others, doesnt mean you cant harm others... and it doesnt mean you shouldnt pay for your harm... even without intent. So much infighting over this issue,... strategies to defeat the state (some viewed more extreme as others). The problem is everyone keeps acting like its a simple issue, and their side won it... the fact is, its an EXTREMELY difficult issue and both sides make great points. I do think it will have to be through education on the whole, but I do also realize that individual actors inside the state, even without intent, are not innocent of their implied consent for statist crimes. What a mess...
