The officer abused his position in forcing the individual to sit, - TopicsExpress

The officer abused his position in forcing the individual to sit, unless he had a clear and reasonable (which from this view it seemed the officer did not) reason to detain the individual to a chair by force, this is a form of unlawful imprisonment and goes against the Bill of Rights, the way the officer reacted is why good cops get bad wraps. At the same time, the individual did need to show some respect and could have sat down to discuss the issue in a more calm manner. Both were at fault, but the officer is held to a higher standard being a public servant. Public-show respect to public servants, you get respect from public servants; public servants- show respect to the public you serve and the public you serve will respect you. God Bless you both and I hope you both learn a lesson.
