The old chap who made this used to have the unit next to me, And I was privileged enough to work with him and learn hell of alot during this time, He is a traditional pattern maker and uses wood for the patterns. Would you believe this chap cant even use a mobile phone or computer! but can create this from drawings? This is a full size hand made,(NO CAD) wooden body styling buck. Used to hand form aluminum bodys. This buck is for a 1955 mercedes W196R streamliner .(300SLR). If you think this impressive! you wait until you see the porsche 908 that he has built from scratch and even casting all his own components and made the full chassis and body. Ross I salute you sir.
