The old girl has been giving me some grief for a few days. Its either a wiring problem to the starter or the starter itself or some stupid thing thats causing me to break down in embarrassing places (tonight at the liquor store when I went to get a couple of cans of beer after a looooong day). While I worked at it for 1/2 hour, only 2 people out of the 100 or so that walked in the store stopped to see if I needed help. One went to get some booster cables. The other actually laid on his back and tapped on the starter while we boosted and tried cranking it. Got it running...got it home...its staying here until Thursday when my mechanic and I try to figure out what the hell is going on. Thanked the 2 guys profusely for what they did. To the rest of you who turned a blind eye, salright with me. If any of you were waist deep in a snowbank in the middle of a blizzard, I would still give you a piggy back ride to the nearest shelter...because thats just the way we should all be. Right?
