The old mining town of Randsburg, CA celebrated their heritage with the annual Randsburg Old West Days on September 20. The Randsburg Desert Museum hosts the event every year. The event kicks off with a pancake breakfast and the streets are lined with vendors and many folks come in old west costume. The shoot outs with the Old West Lawmen and various outlaws are always a hit with the crowd. This year was the first year to incorporate an parade and the Ridgecrest Wild Horse and Burro Corrals received a special invitation to participate. Program Assistant CJ Wallace and her burro Olivia stepped up to accept the invitation. CJ and Olivia were joined by volunteer Kym Stallings and her mustang Derringer.
