The old saying don’t see, don’t hear, don’t speak confuses - TopicsExpress

The old saying don’t see, don’t hear, don’t speak confuses many as to what it actually means. It means don’t put yourself in a position to be tempted by sin. It does not mean turn a blind eye to having the courage to be a political activist. In ancient Taoist times maybe that worked, but not today. If all of our spiritual leaders refused to take a stand on important issues where would the world be today and what chance would we have moving forward. Gandhi did both! MLK did both! The Lord and Lady Christ did both! We live in a contested world and although the truth can be extremely negative it must be told and people must be brought together to fight injustice. Without this important step we can never have Heaven on Earth- we will only have Hell on Earth. Some are unable to meditate in a storm of dark truth. I understand you can focus only on heaven and help to create that within, but at what cost? Abandon your duty to fight for injustice? Turn a blind eye on humanity? Evil leading the ignorant is a recipe for hell and only cowards turn their back on Heavens fight. Light a candle instead of cursing the darkness, but the light equals truth. Are you ready for the truth? Or do you prefer to live ignorantly in the darkness.
