The one key trait of any successful business owner is persistence. Persistence in the face of failure. Persistence in the face of doubt. Persistence in the face of mockery. Persistence when everyone else around them walks away. Be prepared to be ignored, doubted and ridiculed. Be prepared to work more than the average 9 to 5er. Be prepared to get rid of the, thats not a part of my job description mentality because when its all on you, everything and anything is a part of your job description. Be prepared to hold that, everything is personal mentality because feeding your family is personal. Be prepared to not get paid and asked to do things for free. Be prepared to share your vision with someone and never hear from them again.
