The one thing that annoys me are the travel shows like getaway how many episodes are they that accommodate anyone with a disability, tree pop walks, no carnt do, beach holidays carnt do disability accommodation is very limited usually one room per hotel or caravan park even traveling on a plan can he horrendous, my husband has been on elbow crates for 9 years and none of the gateway shows show you where anyone in a wheelchair or crutches can go, it takes a lot of planing to go on holidays anywhere with a disability and in this day and age its absolutely disgusting. Hubby has just undergone above knee amputation and we really have to plan any holidays we take now. Disabled parking is a joke not enough of them, restaurants most have a step and not wide enough for a wheelchair, and cannot get to toilets without another step. We recently had a holiday to Perth went on a ferry to Fremantle to go to the toilets it was a flight of stairs these companies should not be allowed to operate without proper disability facilities so my husband didnt a have a drink as he couldnt get down the steps to go to the toilets. This is not the 3rd world last time I looked we were in Australia ......
