The ones who have the money and knowledge to own the legal system ( use it as their own tool for monetary or power gain) support IP laws. A person or people who run corporations who can use the legal system to limit your competition will defend IP law. Those of us who are eliminated by IP law from the competition, and those of us who find our choices limited in the market place because of IP law, should not be supporting IP law. I am surprised at the number of people who have a poor risk / benefit return from IP laws who still support them with religious fervor.
