But many of them are traumatized and are unable to proceed a normal life as before. They need professional and efficient help to be able to get going again. A new, revolutionary method to treat PTSD is psychomotor therapy which is neither widely practiced nor supported by clinical studies. It was developed by Albert Pesso, a dancer who studied with Martha Graham and is practiced by Bessel van der Kolk who wants to change the way we heal a traumatized mind — by starting with the body.
